1. Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which investment transactions on the InvestUs platform may be reversed cancelled or refunded. As our products involve fixed term investment commitments refunds are subject to strict and limited conditions.

2. Nature of Our Services

InvestUs offers structured financial products such as Purchase Order Investment Tiers where investor funds are allocated to real world projects or contracts. Once funds are allocated they are committed to investment instruments and cannot be immediately withdrawn or reversed unlike standard product or service purchases.

3. General Refund Principles

Refunds are not guaranteed and will only be considered under the following circumstances

  • Duplicate payment errors
  • Mistaken overpayments
  • Unprocessed applications where no investment allocation has occurred
  • Technical or administrative processing failures
  • Fraudulent use of your payment method upon confirmed investigation

4. Non Refundable Circumstances

We do not offer refunds in the following cases

  • You change your mind after funds have been allocated to an investment
  • You wish to withdraw from the investment before the six month minimum term
  • You claim financial distress after investing
  • You misunderstand the product or expected returns after confirmation
  • Delay in return due to a project related operational delay risk disclosure applies

5. Cancellation Before Allocation

If you wish to cancel an investment

  • You must notify us in writing within twenty four hours of payment
  • If your funds have not yet been allocated we may cancel and refund less any transaction or administrative fees
  • If funds have already been allocated cancellation is not possible and the investment will run its course

6. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved

  • It will be processed within ten to fourteen business days
  • It will be returned using the same method used for the original payment
  • Administrative or gateway fees may be deducted where applicable

7. Fraud or Misuse

If any transaction is suspected to be fraudulent or unauthorized

  • It will be immediately investigated
  • If confirmed a full reversal will be processed via the payment gateway
  • Legal action may follow if misuse is proven

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa including but not limited to

  • The Consumer Protection Act where applicable
